nathan is my boy and i will always take his critique seriously. i would love to buy those LXZ to prove him wrong that I cant FIT them AND have them actually look good, but i'm not blowing 3500 when I know I could pull them off, i'm very happy with my current wheels.
Still bitter that some cali dude beat me to the gold 18" neg offset Meister Sp3's I was going to buy, but i digress.
BUT
Let me set this straight and then i'll get off my s0apbox:
Build YOUR car how you want, and I will build MY car how I want.
You can have any and every opinion and voice it as free and openly as you like!
BUT
Do NOT tell me how to build my car, or that I should not do WHAT I WANT or modify HOW I PLEASE.
I'm the first person to give props to innovators, thrill seekers, limit pushers, and the like.
I respect Nathans opinion, and sometimes im a dumbass and his smartass shows me the math calculations and I see his point of view more clearly.
Teddy with the v8's suck cardboard sign, I know he did that for attention, but come on, if he truly believes that then he is a very closed minded traditional nuthugger. I respect him, and I agree that a true JDM classic should retain all Nissan parts, but thats not me, so LS3 here I come.
with that said,
goodnight

Exactly part of my reason to run fiberglass, you can cut / modify / section / lengthen / shorten / fabricate A LOT easier when it is a resin based composite than when it is steel and your only option is cut and re-weld / grind smooth.
i'll argue all day that metal is stronger and better in the long run, but FG is cheaper and 1000% easier to work with for me.
