$525/mo. rent for a room at my mom's townhouse near Fair Oaks Mall (price is the total for rent, utilities + cable/wireless internet); room opening up sometime this mid/late Summer. Includes a dresser and a small but tall corner desk.
Catch: You'd be living on the third floor in the room next to my mother's room. haha ^^
Perk: She makes food sometimes and forces you to eat.

in a nut shell, the sellers/buyers/refinancers come to our office to handle any disputes at the table and close the deal.
you forgot about the awesome coffee service too! i luv showing up for closing and the title company ppl makes you feel like you actually matter! then you sign everything and they want your azz out!
our office has coffee, soda, AND bottled water!

and a money tree, but alas, it only grows leaves... :/

Yeah because I want to move out of my crazy Korean mom's house to live with someone else's crazy Korean mom....
Though seriously if you all like bul-go-gi/den-jang-ji-geh/kim-chee or something involving dried up mini-anchovies, then that'll probably be the best $525 per month you'll ever spend.

george if you are looking to buy i can refer you to a good realtor that works mclean, tysons, fairfax and those areas really well. She is helping me out here in manassas which isnt her territory. id offer up my bro as well (mortgage broker) but he isnt licensed in va so he could only offer some tips and such.
I know jack about THAT part of the housing market. I work in the secondary mortgage market.....
anywho, would this realtor know good places to rent? I'm really not looking to buy because i don't know if I will still be in VA for five more years.
