Preeeeetty sure we saw some killer Tandems at 100 DoD, and there's a shitload all over youtube already. Again, why is this the be-all end-all video group? It's good driving, but not epic.
You're impressed by wall taps? I'm more impressed by a driver that controls his car enough to narrowly miss the wall, not one that taps it to be cool or because he couldn't keep it off it. Sue me, technique is cooler to me than Raaaaawr i drifted hard!!!...but screwed up.

All I see there is kids that haven't grown up yet and are gonna bring the negative stigma to us when some 16 year old sees that, thinks it's cool, and gets killed trying it. Meh. There's a difference between not caring when you hit shit cause you're having fun and going out just to look cool being hoodrat-emulating.
Again, I get that they're abusing their missles and don't care. That's cool and all, but everyone making such a huge deal about it is what I don't get.
Really? So when people jump out of cars in movies that doesn't give kids ideas? Be real dude the shit that these dudes are doing aren't anything you can't see browsing youtube or just watching action movies. Why do you have a car and go drifting? The kid inside you wants to play otherwise you'd be doing grown up shit right?

So forseberg, tuerck and the other dudes on there don't narrowly miss the wall in the formula d cars? This is for FUN dude.. that is all!
Liiitle difference between seeing say an explosion in a movie, and some kids making stuff blow up in their back yard. Same principal applies. You see car chases and performance driving in movies, but is Fast and Furious why you're into cars and drifting or is it because you saw something obtainable? We can play this game all day long. You're still going off topic. My question still stands, why is this so "cool" vs any other drifting video.

Ok....again...So what? STILL not addressing the question, just following the crowd there.
I see both sides of this point. I mean I won't lie there were parts of that vid I just was like "DAYYYUM" but it's like a non professional insured version of jackass IMO. Thought the two clips of chasing the cop on the track was hilarious, and the barrel jump, but I could see where this would give hobby drifters a bad name as Casey brought up. To each their own, but no matter what people will be influenced. There is no stopping that. The day the guy's shoe gets caught on the barrel and face plants into the trunk will be the last day they probably do that stupid of a stunt. Still funny though.
A side argument

I'm coming at this objectively, ignoring the hoodrat status and just not getting what's so ZOMG.
It's just another drift video with pro drifters and hood rat status and video editing. Any of us could make a vid like that

Your still not understanding what i'm saying. It's all for the fun and love of the sport. These dudes travel all year long putting on events and actually trying to seriously compete that sometimes it takes the fun away from it. That weekend they could do whatever the fuck they wanted to do and not have anyone yell, complain, or even cry that they can't do the same thing. How often do you see an event that absolutely nothing is off limits? Like I said, if you've never been there you wouldn't understand. You can sit there and try to justify that they are kids but in all reality, they had 1 billions times more fun that weekend than you probably had this whole year drifting.

Way to still completely miss the original point. /thumbsup. But go ahead. Continue to tell me what I do and don't understand or pretend you know a thing about me. Cause that's intellIgent. Lol.
Yet to hear an answer besides steveos that's remotely focused. But yea Steveo. All it is really.
why is this so coool? okay mature michael, this is so cool because, like caleb said, it's a bunch of rad dudes having blast drifting. driftings not only with FD, which they do drive in, an kill it in, but you can always fuck around on the side.
skaters post videos of them doing crazy ledges, shit like that, but theres other stuff they do thats just pure fun. these guys aren't posting a video saying, "look this is my driving skill right here, check me out, watch me hit this cone"..... they're posting a video to show how they get down, it might not be entertaining to you, but i thought the video was pretty radd along with dozens of other people. why is it so cool? cause they're showing how much fun they're having when they're not going balls out in FD competing against other drivers.
Wolfie- it's good driving and a good vid, but still not a solid reason as to why every other drifter has to change his pants at the thought of a bloodmaster vid. Yeah, skaters show vids of them doing crazy stunts. These weren't that up there on the crazy scale. Professional drivers hitting their marks in a missle isn't really a huge feat.
