My g2 is a beast. As was my g1. I beat the fuck out of the and they keep ticking. Apple can suck my balls. Proprietary apple bullshit for the mo fuckin losss.

Why is that? It's not much different then the Droid X and that was amazing, or at least I thought so.

IMO I like a larger screen. The text on the iPhones is wayy small. Yes it has a nice resolution and accessories to go with it, but I'm not a 16 year old girl. With that said, I'm not saying you guys who are waiting/wanting one are, I just don't get the hype about it? "Ooooo new Apple product! Must have!" Just the majority of the people that get them make it more of a scene-ster thing.

Well at first I loved it! It was my first smart phone, so it was a huge upgrade from my Sony Ericsson.

Here are a few issues that I have with it:
1. I can't use the standard keyboard. It will freeze and not show anything that I have typed. It got annoying. Now I'm using the swype keyboard. Seems to work fine, but I was used to the standard keyboard.
2. The phone randomly restarts itself. I can be on the browser and all of a sudden it will restart.
3. The phone freezes. If I'm typing something long like a text message or if I'm just on my facebook app browsing, it will freeze.
4. The camera is sensitive. If I move it just a tiny bit, it'll come out blurry as hell. Also, it seems like the camera flash doesn't even do anything. I was with my mom eating, and I took a picture of the food. It came out very dark. She did the same thing and it came out looking great! I checked both of our settings and they were the same, but her pictures were coming out brighter and looking way better than mine.
5. Sometimes it'll act very slow. Takes a few seconds after entering my password to open up.

I'm sure theres more. idk if i got a phone with a lot of bugs or what but I'm trying to get a new one since its still under warranty.

My mom has the Droid X and she says shes had no problem whatsoever.

Other than that, this is a nice phone. I like how its big and has a nice screen. Wish they made the spacebar "button" a bit longer tho. I'm always hitting the comma "button" and it gets annoying.

Ah yes, the battery life sucks as well. But then again, thats a problem with all smart phones.

Try better keyboard, its more intuative to most people. There is a free version too

Try running an update. Thats a firmware install problem that can be fixed by a network install. If more problems persist get Verizon to replace it.

Sounds like a software error for sure.

If you have a shit ton of apps running it does that. Dont have full pages of widgets either

Make sure to turn off your GPS when you're not using Nav. Most people don't realize THATS what is killing their phones battery.

IMHO sounds like you got one bad one out of the batch. Shit happens in mass production. It sucks, but hey you've got to roll with the punches sometimes to get what you want. Since it's within the warranty just call Verizon's technical support and tell them whats up. I've done it a shit load of times when I had a Thunderbolt and they were nothing but of great service. I had a new phone the day after I called.

I have the Droid X and I do not think the X2 is all that nice nor worth the upgrade. The one single thing that urks me is the pentile screen.

Ramonesfreak2010 - In time, look at rooting your phone and applying a custom ROM. It will VASTLY improve the experience of the phone.

I'm patiently waiting for OCT. 11TH when Google and Samsung announce the next Nexus phone.

I have the T-mobile Windows phone. Its the HD7 I believe. It's awesome
