Need alittle help...my swap is almost done.

it was a 240 auto...just so we all know what we're dealing with.

the lower SR20 harness (not the KA) has only 1 plug on it that connects to the middle plug of the row of 3 plugs on the passenger fuse box. is this correct?

i unplugged and removed the altinator/starter harness from the KA completely...it unplugged off 3 plugs on the side of the ecu facing the motor on the passenger side.

so if i remove the KA lower harness entirely....and plug the 1 plug from the SR lower harness in the middle of 3 plugs on the passenger ECU...thats it?

ok so my biggest question is the charcoal canister yeah i know WHY would i keep it i just wantt a good running sr with all the emissions controls and was wondering if any one knows the connections from the canister to the engine?
sorry to bump such an old thread, but what would i need if im buying a sr20 redtop with all the stock sr parts?

harness, dohc cluster, powersteering lines??
assuming your car is already a 5spd...so i can forgo all the usual 5spd swap parts.
what you will need is:
the engine witch is a givin LOL
trans
ecu
harness: color match your wire's on the dash plug that is on the pass. side, extend the O2 wire's,extend the MAF wire's, wire your pass. side main plug(between the headlight and the fuse box)into the sr harness and so on there are tons of wright up's on the wiring and i think I saw a great wiring diagrame on this thread.
i always get new motor and trans mount due to the one's normaly on the car are shot.
get a DOHC cluster if you car isnt already a DOHC
and if you are looking to just get a ebay intercooler kit it works but I build all of mine from scratch for my cars and my customers cars. the way i run mine you dont have to relocate the battery but if you run a ebay kit plan on finding a new spot for you battery or running a small battery

also on a side note make sure to pull the oil pan(front small oil pan) and bang it back down many people have not done this and end result is the oil pickup starves for oil and well let just say it dosnt end well LOL
that is a quick basic walk through there is more but for a quick basic, there you go.if you need sombody to do the swap or make a few part's just let me know

g20 tb is slightly larger bore than s14 sr20de, and much larger than the sr20det tb. also, if you use the base of your sr tb bracket and weld it to the cable section of the ka tb bracket you can retain cruise control when using the g20 tb. there is some electrical wiring required, but its very basic. i have a writeup on zilvia.
