Hey whats going on guys. I've got some slop in my steering and I've noticed my bushings are dry and worn out. I'm going to get an alignment soon so I figured I would replace my worn out steering rack bushings before it since its cheap and easily accomplished. I've done some research and found out that almost every thread says the Energy Suspension kit doesn't completely fit s14s'. Either the drivers side fits and the passenger doesn't or its vice-versa. Question is, does anyone know of a set that both of them fit? I'm not really looking to buy 2 different manufactures pieces and mix and match stuff. Megan racing has a set for $60 but their product pictures show a gap that when I've researched threads, everyone says it bad and hence why other companies bushings don't fit. BUT, I have noticed that Energy Suspensions kit comes with 3 bushings now and only 2 are needed. http://www.velocityshop.com/product/ener...x_920.html

So that makes me think that they are including the right one for the s14. Apparently the s14 rack is smaller in diameter so thats why I think I may be right. You can see a difference in the pictures. So I want to hear everyone's suggestions because I know there are people on here who know the answer to my questions. I've googled for the past hour and haven't found anything

Thanks for any and all help
I have ES on mine. The 3rd bushing was for 300ZX IIRC. I think the reviews you were reading were back when people were making 300zx ones fit our cars or something along those lines.

They fit fine and work nice. Cheap mod with nice difference.
What he said, I have energy rack busgings as well, I got 3 pieces one for 300zx the other two fit just fine. Took me literally 15 mins to change.
I thought the 3rd piece in the set was either for a S13 or S14 chassis depending on what chassis you were putting it in.
im with ro
I don't remeber since this was a year ago. It wasn't needed on 14s, I remember that much.
I did mine years ago, I just took all three out looked at which ones matched and put them in.
The two thicker ones are for s14, the thick triangular one is for both and the thin round one is s13
Yeah they were nice enough to include the different bushing to ease install and not have to buy more stuff. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Stance (or any knockoff will be cheaper) steering shaft replacement bushing. Its solid aluminum and replaces that janky ass rubber one.

I did that with the ES bushing and my steering response and feel was like an F1 sim. No bullshit.
I made a thread with all the information you need: http://forums.ma240sx.net/showthread.php?tid=7877
