so i just picked up a s14 that has an rb20 swap and its hard to get into gear when at a stop before you drive the car for awhile and after you drive and turn the car off. as far as parts drivetrain wise all i know is that it has a welded diff and a b&m short throw. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas to try or a clue as to what is wrong with it. Thanks
Sounds like you have some sort of hydraulic issue, try to bleed the clutch system first if that doesnt work then you will probably need to replace the clutch master cylinder and or slave cylinder.
does it make any noise when you try to get into gear or when u depress on the clutch pedal? slave cylinder or clutch going bad?
try pumping the peddle a few times befor putting it in gear if it go's in its probibly a bad master or slave
i had the same problem sometimes in my old rb
what does it matter what motor it is?
i feel there's a slight... lack of information
i know i had a problem with the shifter bushing in mine, if not the right one its a problem, what type of fluid are using btw?
