moved from vero beach aka zero beach because the only thing there are rich grumpy old old old people who thinks money is everything and i think im going to take it to a transmission place they look at it for free and maybe they can tell me whats up because i also posted on zilvia.net and someone said something along the lines of a auto flywheel... and i thought autos dont have flywheels but im tired of fighting with it i mean it drives but its just quite annoying to hear the spring that i have on the clutch pedal squeak every time i shift
ya um no LOL auto's have flexplates and 5spds have flywheels big diff. there and you cant interchange the two, what that dude is telling you is not right at all but also what do you have the clutch bolt's tq'd to? and what clutch do you have? these are two other things that can lead to bad or no shifting, a trans shop wont be much help unless you find a nissan guy there but you might luck out, if you where near front royal I would say bring it by and i can have a look for you but most people are no where near here LOL
try adjusting the pedal linkage mine was doing the same thing and thats what it needed

is that in kentucky or somewhere else cuz if so i can deff take a ride and maybe we can find out what the hell is wrong with this thing because its driving me to my limits and idk if this helps out more but its a b**** to get it in gear when at a stand still and ive been rev matching to help it downshift and im not sure if this is causing the shifting problems or something else... with my luck lately... im going to lean towards something else LOL
ok so while driving today i was driving up the mountain that i live on i stopped to take a picture of my car well i thought id be a smartass and try to do a burnout and when i dropped the clutch all it did was burn straight clutch the tires did not spin one bit maybe that will be the answer to my clutch problem if anyone knows anything or even if this helps i just have not gotten the time to go to the tranny shop in town
Im in front royal VA but if the clutch just spun thats not a good start...its sounding like a few things could be going wrong but i would say it might be time for a new clutch as well, something in better shape and a bit stronger than what you have.
