I'm a little hesitant to post this (non-Nissan engines don't get much love) but here goes.

Engine makes only 228 bhp at the wheels on a Dynapack, but that was only the shakedown run revving to 5,000 RPM. Torque is 315 ft-lbs at the wheels pretty much at idle.

Shell - single cam fastback, base model, no options

Engine - small block Chevy Gen I, carbureted, http://www.jegs.com/i/GM-Performance/809...tId=752506

Drivetrain - Borg-Warner T5, DSS custom 1piece propeller/drive shaft http://www.driveshaftshop.com/

Rear end - Pathfinder 3.133 diff, Tomei 2-way

Chassis - fully gutted down to frame resto, S&W 10 point rollcage, custom 10gal fuel cell

Brakes - 180SX front brakes, full braided lines

Suspension - Megan Track, Tein tie rods for mad steering angles, stock everything else (for now)

Exterior - S14 front end, Chaser 50mm+ rear fenders, VIS hood, no body kit (for ground clearance)

Supporting mods - Koyo radiator, CS coolant reservoir, full custom wiring, full custom exhaust, custom engine mounts, custom dash, pretty much custom everything

Engine accessories provided by http://www.jonesracingproducts.com/

Has full Vintage Air AC kit. AC blows cold! http://www.vintageair.com/

MSD ignition kit http://www.msdignition.com/

I wanted to build a car I could put 20k miles daily a year and still drive to the track, do an event, and drive home.

The same folks who built Amtk240's kouki will also be helping me with mine as well on the paint.

The mechanical fabrication was performed by http://www.bandtmotorsports.com/

The interior and wiring is all done by me (which is why it looks like crap Smilie )

Engine needs major rerouting and cleanup

Cell needs rear firewall (maybe fab'ed by Victor)

Cage needs triangular bar. not installed yet since I need to work on the rear area like A LOT

Just uploaded some more pix.

Both door shells are loaded with 4 layers of Dynamat. Closes extremely quiet with a thud like a Benz.

Front bumper and grills are from aznevoviii's kouki that he had a LONG time ago.

Kept the stock auto seatbelts for inspection but removed the motor and rails so the buckles stay at the rear position permanently.

Quick vid of exhaust with engine running at about 2k RPM taken with my crappy digi cam

Thanks for the love.

The fenders were cut and seam welded. Then body sealer was applied to all the small gaps to make an air tight seal.

The seat bracket was drilled out and flattened to mount high back racing seats and make helmet room.

With increased steering angle the wheel hits the lip on the frame rail. So that has to be cut, banged back, and tack welded onto the frame.

what are your plans for inner fenderwell plastic?

Not sure what you're asking. The rear fenders don't have a fender liner like the front fenders.
A couple more pix of the Pathfinder diff and the custom exhaust. 2.5" with minimal smooth bends. Premuffler resonator and oval Magnaflow muffler with twin tips.

Carb tuning is amazingly easy. You can tune part throttle, full throttle, and throttle response. Each uses incremental sizes to regulate fuel flow. To enrichen or lean out, go up or down in size. You can't really change a lot since the sizes are limited. If you're in between sizes you pick the closest one and leave it.

That's it.
A tip I picked up from a S-chassis guy. This is jute felt padding normally used underneath automotive carpet. You cut it up into small pieces, ball up the pieces, and stuff the balls into the crevices of the car for insulation and noise suppression.

I put it in the inner front fender, B pillar, and the huge gap in the inner rear fender.

Another alternative is to use expanding foam. I turned this down because it can get really messy and the foam is flammable. Plus the foam emits toxic fumes if burned.

Small update.

More bling on the car. So much bling that pictures can't even come out right.
