Hey everyone Im pretty new to this form but it seems like Im in the right place that covers the metro area. I work in the mobile tire installation business and was wondering if it would be a good idea to bring my truck to a couple of track events in the area to help guys with mounting your tires for the day. Right now Im just trying to get a feel for if its a good idea or not, i know some people hate to bring 6 wheels with them to events. I have top of the line all hunter equipment so you dont have to worry about scrapes or scratches on your wheels. If interested i guess just let me know how you feel about it. Shoot me any questions you may have.
Proud s14sr owner.
i dont think thers ever been a tire mounting van at summit to mount tires on the cars. im pretty sure people would love it, it would be a great ideaa.
Thats a great idea, I never could figure out ppl didnt just do that. But I think its more of the part of maybe having to wait in line which would lose you seat time...in a way.
I say show up to a couple events and let it be known you will be out there. ie; go to every drift nirvana event and everyone will know your always there and consider it. Or talk to the event coordinator and let them put it in there "details" that there will be someone there to change tires with a (enter brand tire changer) and price if guys wanted to take that route
At Just Drift events City Tire Online does this (they also let peopel buy tires online and they bring them to the track in their truck)
You just drop your wheels/tires off and they swap them for you as soon as they can do it, that way you don't have to wait around a long time or wait in line
yes yes yes yes yes(this is the guy from jei that day in the blue truck. whats up)
faaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic idea
another advantage to this is after going threw a whole set of tires after an event it would be good to get the tires removed the rims to be recycled. Nice alternative for ppl who stuff there car and have to drive back home.....s13 coupes are horrible for packing rims and tires lol, i found this out when going from hatch to coupe.
Thats why i'm going into the process of adding a hitch to trailer my things
Do this, please. HPDE guys would also love you, and probably pay more than drifters would.
