Car specs is 89 hatch sohc SR blacktop. no AC no carpets Censored

Long story short, after building the car, when on a drive with o2 sensor plugged, screamer pipe shot lots of flames, rusty floor turned into holes, caught carpet on fire, gutted carpet mid cruise on the side of the road. LOL, so i decided to gut the entire carpet.

When I drive my car on a nice cool day its fine, but when I drive thru hell 90degree humid ass weather, im on fire. After pushing the car it gets even worse on hot days, so I tend to drive like grandma on hot days.

I think its also probably because I have holes in my floor covered with 2 shitty all weather mats and a screamer pipe that aims directly onto the downpipe under my driver floor. lol. Those will get fixed asap.

What are somethings to help with the heat on the floorboard? I'm going to weld in new floorboard and probably wrap the downpipe in exhaust wrap. Definitely going to put some kind of anti heat reflective stuff on the driver floorboard. And I'm getting my AC back in no matter the cost.

Anyone else with these problems? Suggestions?

maybe one of these

maybe a cheap hooker to fan my feet
I thought about buying a bunch for the inside but undecided as of yet. I got a little to put on my bmc heat shield. I'm trying some of their split foil under the car first though. There is a guy in silver spring who carries it. If he doesn't have enough it takes him a couple of days to get it in.
dude....line the footwell with that gold foil. best heat reflector
i just layered like four floormats to create the cheapest barrier possible. hahaha
