hey guys just wondering if anyone knew how you would go about fixing a gas gauge that broke. Its stuck on full all the time..and my odometer likes to stop when ever it feels like it to..any suggestions on the fixes for these???
I had the same issue with the fuel gauge. when i switched out my fuel pump i just cleaned off the whole FLSU off real well and havent had any issues yet, its been about 2 months
i take it flsu = sender unit?
if thats the case i did the same shit and found my ground wire had a bad connection to it
Sounds like your guage cluster is messed up. I would pull the guage cluster out and clean it it up and lubricate the gauges first then go to the sender unit.
ive never checked out were it is at..i ma guessing its outside of the gas tank??it stopped working after i went flying off the track into a bunch of shit at summit ha..so mabey i ripped the ground out or somthing..
should be under the cover for the fuel pump, in the trunk area right hand side if your standing behind it, its circular almost 4 bolts if i rem correctly
i do no that thats where they are in the s13s but is that where they are in the s 14s also?
idk would be safe to assume so? ive never checked out a s14 legitly before so i wouldnt know
does the speedo still work when the odo decides to cut out?

yeah i wanted to know the same thing. My speedos not hooked up so my odo hasnt been working. I have to get some dakota digital speedo converter for it i think.
