my left headlight, left turn signal, left side seat belt all are not working now can it be anything to do with wiring issues or absolutely not its just kinda weird cause even the left window switch doesnt work at for either windows! fill me in on what to do or if i just have to replace everything !
is ur car lowered? you might wanna check your wiring harness inside the front left fender. it's right up in there. Common thing for lowered S13's to do is to eat that harness there.
You have to read the FSM and start tracing current in those circuits. Since a bunch of components are out, try to follow to where they pull communal current and see where the problem is.
There could also be a grounding issue.
yeah its lowered.. so it could be wiring for all of it? or mostly just the lights and possibly the seat belt and window?
the fuse panel on the driverside in the engine bay is linked directly to the fuse box under the kick panel on the inside of the cabin. on a lot of lowered s13's the tire will rub and burn up that wiring harness, if its only on that side of the car it seems very likelly
you could also check that small little box in the driver side door. my driver window didnt work cuz of that thing.
Honestly, wiring is very difficult to do even in person by people with highly experienced technicians, much less by speculating over the Internet.
I have to check about 20 different things to narrow down the culprit, or at least rule out the common things. It would take about 20 pages of online threads to go through the diagnostic procedures to properly find a circuit that has gone haywire.
It could be something as small as a bad ground or shorted out wire, or some other more complicated stuff like fuses and electrical component. If you don't have an electronics background/experience it would be hard to do.
Sometimes I would do consults for some of the local shops with weird wiring issues. It's hit or miss. It can take weeks or we'll find it in 2 minutes.
