alright so it getting kinda hot and im sweating(f*ckin blows) i just change the a/c belt or serpentine belt or what ever you wonna call it and i tried to refill it using this ez chill crap(
http://washford.scene7.com/is/image/Wash...prod$) but i cant seem to get it to connect to the line is it the wrong hose or something
i tried to connect it to big hose with the black cap by the condenser(i think that right)
i can take pic if need but some one help this guy from sweating his balls off haha
You want to connect it to the low pressure line side. There should be a cap on that line somewhat easily accessible (sometimes labeled "L"). Then you take the hose end of the refill kit, pull back on the end and fit it over the uncapped fitting. Then wahla, pull the trigger move the bottle around. etc etc... oh yeah put the a/c on, fan on max, coldest setting.
^correct...make sure you don't over pressurize the system or overfill the freon...jope you got the one with the gauge
I really don't think u can over pressurize the system with those DIY refill bottles.

believe me you can
Even with the ac system running?
its like filling the cooling system while the car is running and constantly pouring coolant into the system...eventually will overfill
you need to convert your low pressure line from r 12 to r-134 with the conversion kit. make sure you vacuum the r12 out or what left of it and charge it on the low side like everyone said.

that is a bad annology. It fills because there is a higher pressure in the little DIY bottle kit. Once the pressure difference is 0, it no longer fills. Pouring radiator fluid is limited by the amount of volume since its all one pressure (atm) when the cap is open.
I just can't imagine the pressure in that bottle being that high since it is an off the shelf product, but then again, i've never actually touched it.
