okay so i just bought this bad boy. it nice i love it. i miss my old s13 yet im so glad i have this one. more to offer not as ef'd up and i know have the money to do shit to this car. but there's something wrong. its not accelarating my car will top out at like 55 and it accelarates like a sloth. when i bought it, it had bad accelaration but i could go faster and it wasnt this bad now its horrible. somebody please help and if in the local kent island annapolis area hands on help would be unbelievable.

check speed sensor and/or cluster if its hitting the speed cut
also if running poorly ohm out the injectors
remember to hit the basics and check compression, spark, and what not.
if its not going any faster, could be lots of stuff man, might be an exhaust restriction. is ur motor sounding funny? low fluid from the trans? auto manual? more info would be nice.
Info: 89 5 spd with 80k
Did the compression before you took it. 147-150 across all.
There is no exhaust clog. Already ran the test and checked the o2 sensors.
Plugs are good.
It's not the throttle position sensor.
Unless you screwed the timing I say check the fuel pump sock and injectors and clean the MAF maybe.
thanks guys i appreciate it very much and joe your a great guy i appreciate everything. but ive narrowed it down. the cat might be bad. something could be stuck in there(clog). number 2 injectors will be cleaned tomorrow. and 3 im trying to get my hands on a z32 maf sooner or later. thanks guys your help is very much helpful
