I'm sports fan and I'm thinking some chatting can be intense,frequent and lengthy.

Alot of the posts may clutter with updates people want to checkout that are car related ,casual and involve alternatives to sports.

Some folks may get annoyed to the point whenever the update the posts for the day they see sports updates and discussions on a auto forum.

A Sports Thread sticky can be a solution to a minor degree by a poll count acting has feedback etc.

Just trying to avoid a future outbreak of arguments between sports and non-sports junkies.

A single "sports" thread doesn't fly to well since there will be more than one sport event someone can chat about....especially being a sticky.


Just make a single thread focused on one association (i.e. 08-09 NFL season) and go on from there. It's going to stay on the first page if there is constant interest....especially from the original poster since he (or she) will update it with new info on a daily basis.

sporting events and associations globally and nationally recognized (and PG-13).


I feel like that was a rhetorical question.

Most "sports" threads eventually turn into arguments about what is and isn't a "sport" when someone posts about an unpopular/unmasculine sport.

That is the reason I ask.

meh im with george this is a 240 site if you want sports go to a sports message board.

Can we have an adult xxx section?

why not goto a sports message board, or an adult xxx website??
