Yeah mine were the same way till a corvette ripped off my exhaust as it parked under my rear axle in pit lane at VIR.
I suggest towing the car, and making sure you break something that would have prevented it from driving home. Then you get to give a great "I told you so!" to your parents.

It is illegal to sell a used cat to anyone other than a scrap yard. But. I don't care. Not looking to buy one. Just borrow to throw on my car and hooopefully go pass the md sniffer test.
when do you need it by? I have a high flow cat on mine that passed with the stock ka. been a couple thousand miles ago though.

Ok. We could do it at the end of this month at the soonest. Going to be out of town until the 24th. And dropping my car off for a few things while I am gone. Oil change, retouch on the tune and maybe high boost tuning....yay. We'll figure it out though.
