a buffet that cooks in front of you? huh

when has sakura ever messed up an order?!?!

Sakura is a japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you, but you may also order sushi at the table if you'd like, or just sit on the other side of the restaurant for sushi-only.
Each table fits about 10 or 12 people.
Location: Fairfax: Fair Lakes Shopping Center

Todai is an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet with a sushi buffet on one side of the bar and other japanese/korean cooked food on the other side of the bar, complete with a dessert island.
Location: Fairfax: Fair Oaks Mall

We could keep it in the Sterling area and go to Kobe Japanese Steak and Seafood House (assuming the price is similar)
Location: Sterling: Countryside Shopping Center
(also one in Manassas)

I'll most likely order sushi at Sakura if we're going there

i'm rescinding my vote as i've sort of become indifferent to either place so it's even...

everyone can chime in with their preference with a +1, or what ever number you want for sakura/todai or one of the other places amy mentioned...let the games begin!!

yep! you get the raw chicken/steak/shrimp from the bar, then bring it back to your table and they cook it. Then, if you want more, just repeat. It's really neat.
None of the aforementioned places are actually like this tho (to my knowledge) sooo

i actually havent had the chance to go to kobes yet but i have heard very good things about it. i heard it was kinda on the expensive side tho.

as always amy is very helpfull. the only thing i'm worried about is that everyone will be able to enjoy themselves in a peacefull manner. if everyone goes to a sit down cook the food infront of you traditional jap steakhouse it might take longer and you wouldn't be able to talk to everyone who is there, you only be able to talk to who's at your table. at a buffet style place everything is wide open. just thought i'd throw it out there incase nobody was thinking about these things. either way i'll be there whatever the group decides.

We still got a day left we should have a bowling meet one of these days random I know.

I'm just thinking of an event a group can enjoy.Bowl America has all you can bowl Sunday through Thursday I believe. 8:45 -12:30 for around 11 to 14 bucks .

graham. ur retarted. if there is any. any. any. restaraunt that can host large parties, it is at sakura. with the tables that seat 20 people.... i dont know why u all care about if it takes along time. this is sopposed to be an evening hangout. everyone who complained about the service at damons last week still had a really good time.

im poor right now. so i vote chipotle!
